Hi there,

I am Chené, the proud owner of Eyeland Optometrist.

I obtained my Bachelors in Optometry at the University of Johannesburg in 2009. With fourteen years of experience in the field, and ten years of owning my own practice. I am passionate about my job, providing others with the best eye care and building lasting relationships with my patients.

Through the years I have developed an interest in specialised contact lenses (soft lenses, multi-focal lenses, scleral lenses and ortho-k) and have worked hand-in-hand with some of the best ophthalmologists in the country.

As a wife and mother of two, my commitment to the well-being of your eyes goes beyond seeing patients at my practice – it’s a personal mission of mine to visit as many schools as possible and ensure that children get screened at an early age to enable them to thrive at school.
